What is the range of the dlink antenna with 24-0700 2.4 ghz 7dbi?
2.4 GHz WiFi Marine Antenna (825-WLW)

anyone?

What's it hooked up to? The router itself has more to do with range than the antennas. With older WRT43G (Linksys) running DD-WRT I would frequently get great signal strength up to 1000 feet away.

Speaking from direct experience with these antennas, it will not increase the range greatly. Double check your router to see if you can boost the transmit power; this, more than anything will help your range.

but, however, it will improve the signal quality (For example: Go from a weak signal 50 feet away to a very strong signal 50 feet away) at shorter (under 100 feet) distances.

I use these antennas from time to time on jobsites, and prefer to discard the base, and hook the antennas directly into the router/WAP.
