This antenna has an SMA connection on the end of the cable and on the antenna itself. You should be able to connect this to a Linksys router that has an external antenna connector.

The newest Linksys routers have only internal antennas and do not accept external antennas. If your Linksys has external antennas, then this should connect.

You may need to get a connection adapter SMA to R-SMA if it does not mate correctly.

Lightning/Surge protection for a Wireless setup?

I have one of these

http://www.netkrom.com/prod_ant_24ghz_ou t_24dBi_ParabolicGrid.html

and I want to hook it up on a really tall pole to hit a local wireless isp. What do I need to do to ground this antenna?

I have this hooked to it...

I think that there is some kind of surge suppressor for lightning made for the coax connectors here as well. Anyone?

I asked a friend of mine about your question and he said to give this company a look:

The collinear antenna was historically used by base station sites, stacking various 1/2 wave dipole elements on top of each other for increased gain connected by some equipment to correct for phase error between the elements of the array. The higher in frequency the better in gain you can achieve in a relatively small assembly. The eight element array built here will yield 6dBi gain in a radome of less than a meter. 2 meters LMR-400 2 12" length of 5/16 K&S brass tubing 1 12" length of 11/32 K&S brass tubing 1 block of wood of at least (3.52ft) 1m long 4 1" x 2" scrap wood blocks (or approximates) 1 1/64th (2mm) thick piece of scrap metal 1 brass toilet overflow tube ( EXACT DIMENSIONS...
