No, my antennae is "nekkid" as can be. I used to have these cute golden Mikey ears..... (Disney's 50th anniversary gold ears) but someone had the nerve to steal it of my car. I stuck on my spare golden ears and they were stolen too. So, nekkid is fine with me for all to see.

I get a really bad wifi signal on my iPod Touch when I'm a few rooms apart from my router, and the signal drops frequently. So I ask: is there a exernal antenna accessory for the iPod Touch 1G?

(if it helps at all, we just got a new router, so I don't think I need to mess with it)

To the best of my knowledge, there is no external antenna for the iPod Touch. However, there are a wealth of ways to increase your router signal without buying a brand new router, which would have the same effect. External antennas can be bought for routers and are really easy to install(simply screw in & instant range boost).

Although it is a hassle, I have also seen somewhere instructions on how to make a parabolic signal booster on the cheap using only cardboard and aluminium foil. It would only amplify in one direction, but sounds promising for a low-cost DIY weekend project.

I am looking into getting a 2009 mazda 3 four door, but I dont like the long antenna on the back. Can you purchase the car with the shark fin antenna or is this an accessory? If so, can the dealer install it without voiding the warranty?

It is an accessory that is not offered by Mazda. However, you can order functional shark fin antennas one online, and they are very easily installed. Installation of a new antenna will not void your warranty in any way.

I have a 94 camaro and when I bought it, it came with an aftermarket head unit and I haven't looked at it or anything but the radio and everything works so if I want to install a new head unit then will I need to accessories to install it?

yes, you can just go to walmart for all 3 of those things

but as for headunits, alpine and pioneer and clarion are some good names of headunits :)

I just bought and took home an Olevia 232V 32" LCD TV. The salesclerk at Circuit City didn't tell me about any accessory cables and I forgot to ask about them.

I don't have my cable set up yet in my new apartment. But I plan on ordering it soon.

Someone told me to go out and buy an HD Antenna now. Will it be obsolete if I get order Cable TV later on this week?

I don't want to buy an antenna only to find out it's pointless having one once I get cable installed later this week.

Acually you can buy a inexpensive set of rabbit ears to get you by till you get cable. These will pick up over the air HD without much of a problem. The word HD in reference to an antenna is a marketing ploy to get more $$$ out of the consumer.

Indoor - Antiference Silver Sensor (about $35) or the Radio Shack UHF double bow-tie ($17); good for applications near or not too distant the station transmitters.

UPDATE:

If you TV has multiple inputs you can use your HD cable through your HDMI input on your tv and leave the antenna hooked up to watch over the air HD. Most TVs today have several inputs. Mine for example has 2 Antenna inputs and a total of 8. Some cable companies don't carry all the locals in HD so I just switch inputs on the remote to antenna and then I can watch all the over the air HD channels. It's just like switching to say video 1 on an older TV to watch DVD's. Your TV manual should explain in detail all of your connection options.
