is there a such thing as a cellphone antenna booster?

im talking like something the computer has to extend the wireless antenna with Cantenna i mean like place it on the roof of the house and have it boost it to the tower?

You can always just try to plug an external antenna into the phone and run it that way. If your phone doesn't have an external antenna plug, then you'll have to get an inside antenna such as this one:

Do Cellphone Antenna Boosters really work?

I have a Sprint Katana and I was wondering if I should invest on one of those little stikers that claim to boost your reception.


The only thing they do is separate you from your money. They don't do anything for your signal as they are just a sticker with gold colored paint on them. They are just a money making gimmick.

Antenna Boosters for a Cellphone?

I got a new phone a few weeks ago but i barely get any signal where i live i get like 1 bar if im lucky! I got a Booster for my phone but i dont know how to install it. It comes with Instructions and i get those but it says Place antennna onto the body of the phone in the same direction as the existing antenna. I dont know where the antenna is at on this phone I have a BlackJack i607! Can anyone help me?


The antenna is internal, so you can't see it. You might have some luck putting it near where the battery goes.
