Will older UHF antenna work for HDTV signals?

Have a 10 year old round channel master with inline amp that works great here in the boonies for UHF channels, is this the same frequency HDTV is broadcast?


terestrial HDTV signals are broadcast in the UHF bandwidth so it is suposed to work fine, however sometimes the digital signals don't get indoors so well. Outdoor antennas seem to work better.
The Consumer Electronics Association has a website dedicated to helping select the correct antenna for your area.
