Where is the antenna?
You need a device called an FM-direct adapter made for XM. It should be available wherever XM radio tuners are sold. You may also need antenna adapters, depending on your car. Usually the easiest place find the FM radio connection is at the back of the factory radio.

Hi everyone,
Is there any way to connect an FM antenna (of any type, dipole "T", terk amplified, etc) to a clock radio's antenna (a piece of wire)? For example, if the FM antenna's output is of a coaxial type, would it just be the center wire of the coax to the dangling wire antenna of the clock radio?
If there is no way to do this, I would appreciate any tips of how to improve the signal strength of a FM station to a clock radio.

The antenna for FM is built into all the clock radios, that dangling wire is for your AM reception...
It has a nominal 3 dB gain over an isotropic source and is directional, tending to favor signals coming broadside to the wire.
A dipole is basically a length of conductor (wire) split into two portions and signal is taken off at the split.
A simple dipole antenna can be used for improved reception of FM broadcast signals.
The greater the number of elements, the higher the gain.
To achieve a 3dB increase, the number of elements needs to be doubled. That means its length will be approximately doubled too.
Is there (i) a UK regulation and/or (ii) an EU regulation for the location of local radio broadcasters' transmitter masts/antennae regarding a minimum distance to human interface. The power intensity is much higher the closer you are to the antenna and there are health risks due to the electro and magnetic fields generated from this source. The broadcast frequency is 90.1 Mhz.

I'm not sure about the UK, but in the US you need a transmission license from a government body to approve your FM channel and the frequency is allotted by that government body.

We just got our hands on the new iPod nano .
As you can probably tell from the shots, it’s a nearly inch-for-inch match with the last generation. That said, the new colors are absolutely gorgeous. Even in the fairly dim demo room, the colors popped.
We didn’t get to spend very much time with the camera, but the camera quality seemed on par with that of the iPhone and significantly better than what we would have expected.
The FM radio interface was great. While it initially couldn’t pick up a signal, all was well once they sunk a pair of headphones into the jack. The Shuffle uses the headphones as an antenna, and the radio started ticking away. There are a few things within the FM player that weren’t mentioned during the presentation but that are quite neat. For one, you can scrub back up to 15 minutes. Additionally, you can tag songs that are playing over the radio, reminding you to purchase them next time you drop into iTunes.
