Mobile TV Antenna

What is considered to be the best interior mounted mobile TV Antenna while your vehicle is underway? for receipt of VHF/UHF signals? i know it would have to be something that does not require a constant line of sight......but what??

Line of sight doesn't matter with FM (VHF/UHF are in the FM band). So an amplified antenna is preferable. The problem is most antenna's are directional. The amplified omni-directionals are ok, but not great.

any RADIO SHACK or find the closest truck stop in your area they both have the wings like on a limo and mirror mounts tv antennas thats the best i could tell ya

I would like to hook-up a four antenna diversity antenna with four mini plugs to an LCD monitor that has a TV tuner with single coax input. I need something to combine, amplify or select the four signals then send the outpot signal to the TV.

I was wondering if it's possible to convert a boomerang mobile tv antenna to work on 2 meters ham, and what would I need to do this?
I have an '07 PT Cruiser and thought that that would look cool on the car instead of the 5/8 wave mag mount that's on it now, plus also it would eliminate hitting low overhangs, the parking structure at the casino I work at etc. Thanks for any ideas. '73s KB9TKB

2 meter FM ham communications are all vertical polarized. The boomer is not, so even if you could get it to load up, it would have no vertical radiation so it would be mostly useless. Television broadcast is horizontal polarization by FCC regulation.

I just got the eternity and i cannot find an antenna for the mobile tv. I know that the lg view by cingular has an antenna and the reception is significantly better. Does anyone know if the eternity has one?

The Samsung Eternity does not have an external antenna like the LG Vu. Rather, it simply has an internal antenna. Nevertheless, according to various phone reviews, the Eternity supposedly gets better reception than the Vu.
