Where could I find an antenna adapter cable for my cell phone?
Cord

What I have is a cell phone antenna amplifier, works great but it does not have an antenna adapter cord for my type of cell phone (It is a Sprint SCP-3100).
Now all it is basically is a cord that converts the removable antenna port into a standard antenna port that I plug into this device.
I don't know where to search or what kind of port this is called so first I need to identify the cell phones antenna type or model name.
Any responses can help.

Where do I find the rubber ring that holds charms for cell phone antenna's?
150717.jpg

Ok, now I am going nuts here.
I have checked everywhere and have not come up with this item.
This rubber ring is clear, or whatever color they come in, and it slides over the cell phone antenna with a charm attached to it.
Not the landyard type. The rubber ring is approx. 10mm

I have no clue what they are called or where to find them.
I have checked two local hobby stores, and on Ebay. On Ebay I do not know what name to put into the search to locate them.
I even tried looking under orthodontics. Nothing!
Thanks!
*lanyard* I meant. Oh, and by the way, when I ask anyone where to get them, they do not know where to get them either.
The "mall" is not going to know where to get them, they get them in by shipments.
Shipments with charms already on them.

I saw them in the craft section of my local walmart. I just used a "ouchless" Hair band that came in a package I had that I never use.

What type of cell phone antenna works the best?
Mobile Phone Antenna Tower

Looped, Internal, or Stub/Extendable?
I know it might depend on what brand of cell phone and what service provider u have, but I just want some feedback on your experience with these types of cell phone antennas.

the stub ones, although dorky, have worked the best in my experience. The internal/looped ones don't pick up signal as well, and the extendable ones either break or I forget to put them up, and they don't work that well anyways. That's my experience with antennas. If you want really good reception, go back to the days of the bag phone. You could talk anywhere with those monsters!

Is there a such thing as a cell phone antenna these days?
ATT Communications Nexus

I have heard of wireless cell phone antenna extenders and it looks like some cell phones may have a place in the back for something like that but I have never seen one.
So are there "rural cell phones" or something???

The phones for rural areas still have antennae

Can you get cancer if your building has a cell phone antenna?

My building has a cell phone antenna i have heard of cases in my building and other buildings that have had cancer cases...

i live in Manhattan on the upper west side
note: its known that antennas release a lot of radiation

Hi,

The strength of the antenna signal drops by a square root by each time it moves from the antenna.

So if it is dangerous when you are within 12" of the antenna, it is 1/4 as dangerous 2' away and by 24' away you have much less than 1% of the danger of being within 1 foot.

You will not die by being within 1' of the antenna right away, the signal is pretty weak at the antenna, but being more than 30' away there is no danger at all.

So unless you do window washing and are close to the antenna for more than a few minutes per day, you will be OK.

To get cancer is fairly easy. You have cancer cells going through your body every day. By being acidic, the cancer can reproduce, but if your body is alkaline, the cancer can not reproduce. Dr. Warburg discovered this many years ago.
