Power Antenna

Right now my power antenna does not go down all the way because it has a small bend in it so i woul dwant to purchase a new one how would i replace a new power antenna will i have to buy a whole new kit or what? and where could i buy one and how much

you can get a universal one from any parts store or J.C. Whitney sells them.

My power antenna stopped working a long time ago and I was told it would be about 70% cheaper to replace it with a normal one.
I can't put it down at all. It would snap right off in a car wash.

no reason to replace it if the antenna is still there. just pull it up to the fully extended position and leave it there. that would be 100% cheaper :)

1995 Chrysler Concorde. The power antenna no longer goes up or down. There is damage at the base and it can't even be pushed all the way down manually anymore. I can't take it through automatic car washes out of fear of it being snapped off that way.

You could go to your dealer and get one. Try a parts store any of them should be able to get you what you need. Also try calling around to different wrecking yards. You could just convert it over to a regular antenna It would cost less and you should be able to pick one up at any parts store and install it your self.

My power antenna just went out, and I want to disconnect the motor so it doesn't grind when trying to extend or retract itself. It's loud and annoying. I'm fine with the antenna extended all of the time. Please send me a note or something if you know how to make the motor stop running.

There is an electrical plug at the base of the antenna. On your car it is accessible behind the inner fender well panel behind and above the right front wheel.

I have already looked at the cover of the box, and it doesnt specify which one belongs to the power antenna.

there should be a fuse panel inside the glove compartment or on the underside of the dash board near the steering column. Inside the cover that is on that panel, is a diagram that has the listing of all of the fuses in your fuse box. if it isn't there any more, you can always find out what fuse it is by contacting your local dealer.
