I live away from a major city. Digital TV broadcast signals come from the South and Northwest. My choices are to put a rotor on it or upgrade my antenna to a Channel Master 4228.
Hi Scott, both antennas (TERK 55 and Channerl Master 4228) are directional, which means both need to point almost directly to the transmission antennas.
Now, you didn't explain where the TERK has been mounted but a lot of people recommend having it on the highest plase on your house, either indoor or outdoor. Try that.
If this doesn't make a difference, then (since both antennas are directional) I would try to use the rotor on the TERK one first, if no improvements are noticed, then I would try the Master 4228.
Go to the link showed on "Sources" field bellow and enter the address where you live (Name, email and phone# fields are not required), it will show you the analog/digital channels you can get in your area, select to show only the digital channels and look at the column where the distance from the transmission to your house is shown and also at the second column from the left which shows what type of antenna you need.
I hope this information helps.

Terk Technology TV-55 UHF/VHF HDTV Indoor/Outdoor Amplified Antenna
You've bought your HDTV monitor and tuner. Now you need an antenna. The Terk TV55 indoor/outdoor amplified antenna provides clear and sharp HDTV and analog VHF/UHF TV reception. Its helical coil technology and patented dual-mode ultra-low-noise amplifier supply clear, powerful reception of HDTV and analog broadcast signals Includes F connector for connection to RG6 cable Mounting hardware for multiple options included Amplifier gain - 10 dB Output impedance - 75 Ohm Bandwidth - 54-806 MHz Dimensions - 3.5H x 46W x 2.25D Getting good HD reception. Analog is not as good. Have it mounted high with direct line of sight to TV transmitters. Very small footprint and multiple mounting options. Not unsightly like many traditional antennas. Doesn't require a rotator either. Don't know if it would work inside -- Only using it outside. Definitely recommend it though.
