In addition to what the others have said, this antenna is not multi directional so it has to be pointed at the broadcast towers for the station(s) you want to receive. If they are all withing a few degrees of each other, you will be ok. However, if they are in different directions and the people watching those 3 TVs want to view stations which are in different directions at the same time, you will have a problem.

Can my HD antenna interfere with my neighbor's TV and radio signal?

We just found out that our neighbor's TV reception and radio reception go static whenever we watch TV (we think). We live in a row house with an amplified TERK silver sensor HD antenna placed next to the wall adjacent to our neighbor's.

Theoretically, it is possible. An antenna can receive or transmit. But I don't see how a situation could arise where your TV or antenna amplifier could fail in such a way to produce interference without also ruining your own reception.
It should be pretty easy to investigate this. Turn yours on and off while watching theirs.
Also, if you have a radio and it isn't affected, that's further exvidence that you're not the source.

What would be a good inside FM antenna? I currently have a Terk pyramid shaped amplified antenna .?

The Terk works fairly well but mostly on close, strong stations. Would an outside antenna perfrom better than inside one? I have a TV "Yagi" antenna and also a Radio Shack omni directional FM antenna.Which would be better? I'm not crazy about putting up a pole outside the house. Please be specific when recommending inside antennas such as manufacturer, Model name/#, approx cost, etc. Thanks.....

I recommend XM or Sirius sattelite radio. It blows away terrestrial radio.

Would it be better to put a TV rotor on the Terk 55 or replace it with a Channel Master 4228?

I live away from a major city. Digital TV broadcast signals come from the South and Northwest. My choices are to put a rotor on it or upgrade my antenna to a Channel Master 4228.

Hi Scott, both antennas (TERK 55 and Channerl Master 4228) are directional, which means both need to point almost directly to the transmission antennas.

Now, you didn't explain where the TERK has been mounted but a lot of people recommend having it on the highest plase on your house, either indoor or outdoor. Try that.

If this doesn't make a difference, then (since both antennas are directional) I would try to use the rotor on the TERK one first, if no improvements are noticed, then I would try the Master 4228.

Go to the link showed on "Sources" field bellow and enter the address where you live (Name, email and phone# fields are not required), it will show you the analog/digital channels you can get in your area, select to show only the digital channels and look at the column where the distance from the transmission to your house is shown and also at the second column from the left which shows what type of antenna you need.

I hope this information helps.
