what is XM ??

hi all i live ooutside ( in saudi arabia ) where i live there is no radio satoins ( it is all suck !!) so im wondering how i can listen to radio stations that is not from my country ?? ( is XM work in all over the world ?? ) ( i have a crown vic 2000 so how i can install it on my car ? ) ( what is this ? :terk marine antenna for XM satelitte radio systems should i buy this one ???? doeas it work in saudi ???? does it let you here stations from all over the world ???? ) ( or is there somthing els ??????????????? please please please help me )


XM is satellite radio and I am not sure if it works outside the USA or not. I think you can only hear USA stations for music, talk shows and sport. Many of the talk show rasio stations would not be approporaite in Saudi and would be banned due to subject content.

    Usually I just put the antenna on the top behind the AM/FM antenna, dropping the cable though the open hatch with a drip loop in the channel and the just running the cable over the back seats and up to the XM receiver. However, since this is to be a more permanent installation, I was wondering what others did when adding a sat radio antenna.
