Some scanners have fire tone out that is a feature that lets you know when a fire department gets a call scanners linke the BCD396T have this but how do you program fire tone out
some scanners can notify you when a specific station gets a call scanners like the BCD396T have this its called fire tone out you have to get the station frequency though, but i dont know how to program or get those frequencies. I know how to get the city frequencies but not specific station frequencies

most scanners can't transmit, they only have a receiver in them so you can't transmit the fire tone out. you have to get an actual radio transceiver. I think that's what you're asking, your question wasn't quite clear on terminology. unless you mean two-tone page. if that's the case you'll have to check your manual for the correct programming. if that's the same scanner you have the manual is online at uniden's website.
