do they make any CB microphones that has any metal clip on, on the back of the CB. i keep brakeing all the other CBs i have had any time i go to put the CB away.


to minimize production cost,all manufacturers of CB radio equipment
now make only plastic mics.
often you can find a vintage or commercial mic at swap meets,and
thrift stores,that can be adapted to use on late model radios.

I am wanting to hook up a cheap pa system, is it possible to hook a cb microphone just up to the cb speaker?

I was wondering if I need to buy the cb radio, because all I really want is the pa system.

I didn't find the pin configuration.But raidioshack has a
4-Pin Female CB and HAM Radio Microphone Plug.It is an adapter. it sells for $3.99
Plug it in.

Nope, nothing commercial because its illegal..., it CAN be homemade if you are handy. you would need to figure out the wiring that would be fun....

    • turner +3B , SSK and expander 500 ???

    Anyone had one or know much about them ? ive been looking at the turner +3 base mic and the built in compression seems to be a good thing . it seems the 500 has that as well as a tone controll . im not sure if i like the look of the 500 or not . in a way i feel its hip and geeky lookin and i kinda like that , but i also think its kinda goofy lookin too . but either way apperance is secondary to performance . how does the 500 compare to the +3B ? from what i can tell the SSK is a non-compression version of the +3B and thats about it other than its color , is that about right ? They will work on most radios that I have. It won't work on my OmegaForce, because they already have that compression...
