I just bought a Cobra 25 and a K40 antenna. I'm very pleased with the stock mic. I'm looking into "improving" it with a power/echo mic. I don't want to spend a lot of money. I noticed the Workman DM-452. Just wondering if anyone has used it or has advice. Also, anyone know of a big online company that sells a huge lot of mics, accessories, sound effect boxes, etc.?

** BTW, this is the new Cobra 25 NW. According to the reviews it can NOT be peaked and tuned. Don't get me wrong, the radio sounds great right now. I just wanted to add a mic that has some extra features and MAY make it sound even better. I tuned the antenna the best I could.

I would not buy a power mic. Instead find a reputable CB mechanic and get that little radio peaked and tuned. If you really want it to sound nice have a connex board put in at the same time.A few bucks but you will have a little radio with one big nasty attitude.Then either get a Astatic mic or a Roadking mic.I repeat.... Astatic or Roadking....Your radio will then sound like any 400.00 dollar radio out there.Make sure you get the K40 tuned to the radio and vehicle it is on as well.
