What are the VHF frequencies for pilot communications at the Detroit Red Bull Air Race? I am going to be on a boat and would really like to put them on the scanner.
Race Control is using both 126.6 and 134.8 for Detroit.
USCG is using 21A.
RC car radio frequencies are important when riding around other cars, each RC car should be on it#39;s own frequency; lean more about RC car ...
Most local tracks don’t allow radios in the cars however if your does the best way to listen in is with a racing scanner. These are available from many sources and you don’t need to know specific frequencies as it will scan all of the frequencies. Once you find the frequencies on most models you will be able to program them into the scanner. The best articles about racing scanners and radio’s can be found at the following link http://nascar.about.com/cs/racefrequenci es/bb/bybscanner.htm it mostly talks about NASCAR racing but does pertain to all racing. I hope it helps.

I have a Nikko America Wave Buster boat. I want to race with my neighbor. We both have the same frequencies on our boats so racing is impossible.
Look for where the may be place or slot for the crystal that determines frequency. You should be able to pull it out and add a new one. There may be also a switch that can help you change frequencies. Look aat your remote as well.
I tried the Nikko website but it's down.
You may have bad luck and the frequency is fixed. But not really likely since most of these R/C toys are meant to raced with a group.
You can find a list of frequencies online, then flip through them at the track to get car teams talking, radio broadcasts ect.
Scanners is the correct answer you can also listen to what the officials are saying.
