radio battery

Dewalt radio battery charger is not getting any power. Worked fine yesterday. Today no power at all just dead. Won't charge batteries or play radio. changed to a different receptacle still nothing. Any suggestions?

If the cord is the removable type, make sure it is seated properly in the back of the radio. If not, check the cord for damage. The often break near the plug.

see if you can find a previous owner-
should have come with a card with the code on it

Most OEM systems can run for 2 to 8 hours with enough juice to be able to start the car after depending on the condition of the battery and charging system. If you have aftermarket amps, that time will be much less. More like 1 to 2 hours.

Yes if it's on then the batteries will lose power. All the components take power and are a drain on the battery whenever it's on, even though the volume is off.

when i changed my radio. the battery light came on and drained it to where it died. if i disconnected all the wires. why would the light still be on?
right now there is no radio. the car starts but is still low. will i die again or will it be ok to put the new radio in?

i had the same problem with my friends car when we put the radio in, what happen in our case, the wires actually came loose on one part of the harness and they would short out the system, draining the power, this sounds exactly like what is going on with your car, we couldn't tell at first so i would suggest taking out the harness and inspecting it, make sure all your wires are where they are supposed to be and that none of them are loose, good luck
