I have a PRO-97 Scanner and need the frequencies for the department.
I have a pro-97 scanner, and i need the police frequencies for slidell, louisiana police department.

I have a uniden bearcat police scanner.30 channel 10 band radio scanner.. I hope this helps.

Alot of the times most of the public frequency codes will be given to you over the phone or in person if you contact your local police station, it is public knowledge for citizens to be prepared and on top of current events. You might also want to try the Uniden or Bearcat website, a while back I found some online frequency codes for different parts of the United States, just try a search for frequency codes

I listen to my Pro-97 every night. I got it programmed for my city's cops and fire. Pretty cool to know whats going on in your city. When I go outside I know what cops usually deal with and I know all of their radio codes!

My husband was a firefighter, and a scanner was the first gift he bought me so that I could know what he was up to if he was late or didn't show for a date. Romantic, huh? Anyways, he has scanners all over the house, and they drive me NUTS!!! I really block them out the majority of the time, and have been turning them down gradually for years. At least they are out of the bedroom now.
