Where can i find a good heuristic virus scanner?

I prefer it to be an online scanner. If not, then a good virus scanner software program would be good. Preferably freeware, or trialware. I have viruses on my pc that familiar virus checkers are not picking up, so i am thinking it's heuristic viruses that are on my machine.

Where can I find a free scanner software?

Well, i have a scanner, and it works, but I can't find the program to scan things with... I hear you can scan stuff with MS Paint, but I'm not exactly sure how. But if someone gave me a link to some software that I can scan things with, that'd be great.

What program or software do I need to download tp get my MUSTEK 1200 UB scanner working in Windows XP?

The driver is installed i just need a programme so that I can launch the scanner store my scanned images and view them ect


Almost any image file program will do what you need. I think that maybe you are not looking in the right place.

Look under import in what ever image program you use (Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop). Word even has this ability.

If you do not have anything like these programs try Irfanview. It is a free download and very easy to use, I would highly recommend it.

    I've downloaded Butels latest and greatest, and have been able to import files to Main screen. I can view/edit the info in the file. When I "Save all open files", however, they are saved as back up files. ie. D_20 T20.53 etc. They do not save to the ARC996PRO folder. They can be found in the "Backup" folder as previously stated. Some how all my files have gone to back up. I've copied and pasted them in ARC996PRO, and can open them from there, yet when I save the open files they are saved in the back up folder only.
