scanner programming software

What would be the best Scanner control/program software for a RS PRO-97 scanner?

I wll be using Windows XP Home Operation system.

Try contacting either Windows or the maker of the scanner and ask them.

Fits Most Current model Uniden Scanners.
For PC to Radio Scanner Hookup.
Use instead of supplied serial cable for USB connection to PC.
For BCD-396XT, BCD-996XT, BCT-15X, BC-346XT, BC-95XLT.
For SC-230, BC-246T, BCT-15, BCD-996T, BCD-396T, BR-330T. (Not for Home Patrol)

I prefer it to be an online scanner. If not, then a good virus scanner software program would be good. Preferably freeware, or trialware. I have viruses on my pc that familiar virus checkers are not picking up, so i am thinking it's heuristic viruses that are on my machine.

Well, i have a scanner, and it works, but I can't find the program to scan things with... I hear you can scan stuff with MS Paint, but I'm not exactly sure how. But if someone gave me a link to some software that I can scan things with, that'd be great.

The driver is installed i just need a programme so that I can launch the scanner store my scanned images and view them ect

Almost any image file program will do what you need. I think that maybe you are not looking in the right place.

Look under import in what ever image program you use (Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop). Word even has this ability.

If you do not have anything like these programs try Irfanview. It is a free download and very easy to use, I would highly recommend it.
