A trunk tracker enables you to listen to conversations on trunked radio systems. Trunked radio systems use several frequencies on a shared basis. The radio system assigns the frequency on a request basis. If you listened to just one frequency you would hear part of one conversation, then part of another, then part of yet another conversation. The scanner can decode the frequency assignments and switch to each frequency to hear just one complete conversation. In other words, it tracks the conversation so you get the complete story.

I just got an old automatic geo tracker and the owners manual says i can move the back seats forward so i can have more trunk room. well i put the back seats down so they are flat. How do i move them forward?

It probably wouldn't hurt to read that part of the manual again.I've never come across rear seats that move from front to rear.Maybe they meant to slide the front seats forward,lower the rear seat backs to level,then move the front seats back again.

I do not understand how to configure all the components. I would like to use the trunk-tracking system. Also, I want to know what specific products would do the job with the least cost.

go to radio shack and get a scanner. Then you can look up the codes to program it on the internet for your state.
