weather broadcast

I'll be doing a project for history where we will be giving a weather broadcast on a hurricane we're gonna make up, but we don't know what information to give our "viewers" other than:
how many mph are the winds travelling
and how many mph the hurricane is travelling at
and in how many hours we can expect the hurricane to have passed our island.

what other information should we present?

Things like

How strong it is
Is it getting worse?
Where is it expected to go?
Where are the current warnings?

Is it just me that finds the jingle on the bmibaby.com advert on the regional weather forecast objectionable?

My Nan nearly choked on her cup of tea when she first watched it - she keeps asking me if he really says 'sand up your bum'!!
