alpine car amp

Hello i want to put my car amp in but just hook it 2 my normal radio but where can i put the black and white striped wire.Is it 12 volt or .5 or i just dont know where to hook it please help thanks.Dont want to fry it.

That is definitely your amplifier turn-on wire. It needs to be connected to a +12v power supply. The power supply will need to ONLY supply power when the radio is on. Go under your dash and look for a blue, or a blue/white stripe wire. That wire will supply +12v when the radio is turned on. It may be labeled remote or power antenna.

Alpine V-Power amplifiers deliver outstanding sound in your car.

I want to purchase some inphase speakers for my car and I have a alpine 1200w amp. My front components will be 60rms 240w max and the backs 100rms 400w max.

Will my amp blow these speakers? I guess my amp in 4 channel is 300w max power per channel.

Without knowing the model of amp,it's hard to say.

I have two 12" Kicker L5's (1200 watts 600rms) each and a Alpine vpower 1000 watt mono amp. I was just wondering how to go about tuning the amp to get my subs tho hit the hardest and clearest. Mainly hard. Please be detailed.

Alpine CDA-7894 head unit, Alpine V12 DC Amp, When the car is off the amp is still turned on as you can see its lit up, The power wire is 4 gauge run to a distribution block, split to 2 8 gauge wires. The 2nd amp(Kenwood) is not power up at anytime. The remote wire is 16 gauge run from the deck to the Kenwood amp and then jumped from that amp to the Alpine.
The Remote wire is connected to the remote wire at the deck.

The way your question is presented, it sounds like you have 2 problems. It sounds like the Alpine never turns off and the Kenwood never turns on.

Check the remote wire at the deck with the wire to the amp disconnected at the head unit. Do you have 12v there only with the key in the run or acc position? If you don't, there is a problem with the remote function in the head unit. If you do, the head unit is OK. Now reconnect the wire to the amp and disconnect the wire from the Kenwood. Do the same test with the key. Do you still get 12v there only when the key is on? If you do, connect this wire only to the Alpine amp. Is the amp working correctly now? If it is, there is a problem with the wiring on the Kenwood amp.

I'm planning on buying a amp to put with my 6X9 Alpine speakers "50-75rms" and 6 3X4 Alpine SPS 600C Component speakers "80rms" Just any opinions on what will work well with these speakers to put out good loud sounds and good bass.

get one that is rated for the wats the speaker puts out to much amp power you will burn them up not enough it wont sound so good so get a amp that has just the right power for them
