I have a 2000 GMC sonoma truck regular cab. I want to see if i can connect 2 Bazooka subwoofer 100 watts installed in the subwoofer for both. with out an amp. heres a linkhttp://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp? skuId=9036722&type=product&id=12 18011393901
the amp is built in to the speaker:
Bazooka - 10" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer with Integrated 100W Amplifier
try one unit first, bass is non-directional
I buy and sell amps from time to time and I always like to test them or see them work when I buy them and after I buy them. A lot of times I sell ...
i got a bazooka bt1014 subwoofer 200 watt, i heard its powerful... what kind of amplifier i need. what do you recommend ??? my car is a 2001 nissan maxima GLE
well, if it's 200 watt, then im assuming thats the RMS of the woofer, which is the everyday amperage, so any amp that has at least 200 rms of power will be sufficient. If it is 200watts peak power then consult the manafacturer for the rms

i have a 15" DVC kicker solobaric L5. RMS is 750w, peak is 1000w. right now i have a Bazooka amp 500wx1 monoblock on it. the signal/noise ratio for it is >90dB. i wanted to put a kicker 750wx1 monoblock amp to pick it up a bit. the signal/noise ratio for that one is >73dB. ive read the high this number, the better sound you get. so, in yalls opinion, which would be the better amp to run the sub? would the Kicker amp be worth getting, or would its performance be negligable. i usually pound bass out of the sub, so does the wattage of the amp the only factor that matters(more power, harder bass)? if anyone has a valid opinion on these amps, please let me know.
Well bazooka amps are horrible so yes I would say get the kicker 750.
I am not sure why some people on this board still seem to think bad about kicker amps but its this simple. You want to talk about SQ? great then why do SQ champs use them all the time? Its because they are proven winners!
Good Luck

hi i have a toyota corolla 92 , i like to install sub woofer to my car . i know it is an old car but i got one sub(Bazooka TA850C 8" Car Subwoofer With Built-In 50 Watt Amplifier) free from one of my friend. is that good to fix that car. does it give good sound. also want to know the amplifies is which one is good? 2-way or 4 -way?
That bazooka bass tube is not really all of that high of quality. It is not going to be that loud or sound that good but if you want a little bit of bass then maybe it will be what you are looking for.
As for your amplifier question, did you mean 2-channel and 4-channel. If you did then a 2-channel is not going to be better then a 4-channel or vise versa. It depends on your application. You may want a 2-channel for 2 speakers or to run a sub off of. A 4 channel is typically for running 4 speakers off of.
I'm trying to decide whether to get this for my car or not. has anyone seen this model or know of any reviews they can help me out with. and also i found it for real cheap on this site, does anyone know of anything cheaper? http://www.digitechstop.com/index.php?ma in_page=product_info&products_id=384 21 please help
thanks
that's FAR from cheap
as far as amplified bass tubes go its pretty good but wont compare with most sub+box combos
you can get one that can handle twice the wattage for less here http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i56_t ube-subwoofer-systems.html
