In order to install a car amplifier, the required materials are a power wire, a ground wire, a remote wire and an RCA signal. Locate the factory ...
IF THE AMPLIFIER IS NEW YES IT IS OK BRAND BETTER THAN PIONEER IF THE AMPLIFIER IS OLD LIKE FROM 1988 TO 2001 IT ISA GREAT ONE OF THE BEST AMPLIFIERS AWW SORRY FOR THE CAPS

i am installing 2 amps to my truck i have a basic idea of what im doing, but a wiring diagram would really help me out alot. anyone know where to find one?
No but its very straight forward.
Get youself some thick (maybe 4 gauge)wire run it from your battery + to where you are going to install your amps (but do not hook up till your done).
Then grab yourself a spliter box (these are availble from any stereo or most car acceries shops). This is used to "split" the thick cable to 2 or more smaller cables. I would be using 8 guage for this.
Now once you have put the splitter in you will have 2 power cables, run 1 to each of your amps.
Now that is done you will need to run a "remote" wire from your head deck, you will be able to piggy back these from one amp to the other, as it is very low volts, ie run it to one amp then just get another wire from that amp to the other remote terminal. (or you can just run 2 down from your head deck)
Now This is done you need to find a suitable earth, remember you should use the same thickness of wire you used for the + so once you have found an earth, you can either piggy back it or do a seperate earth.
Thats about it, just run down the RCA'S and your done.
You can install an inline fuse close to your battery if you wish which is not a bad idea

i have a car battery charger , but as we all know that doesn't last long with an amp at high volumes , the equalizer shouldn't need to much power as am only going to use 2 tweeters and 2 little speakers for high frequencies and midrange and the amp will be running a subwoofer. I have a Pioneer Head unit DEH-P7600. I know quiet a lot about car audio and i can easily hook up a car setup in a car but i just wanted to know how i can hook it up in the house and not damage the equipment.
Your help will really be appreciated. PLEASE HELP ME
Umm....well.....lets see. You are retarded. Also, you are retarded. And lastly, why would you do that? To answer your question, you will need a really big AC to DC converter. Next you will need a clue. Despite what you think, it won't sound as good as it does in a car. Car speakers are designed with small areas in mind. They sound they project is not intended for a big room. If you are looking to make a shop radio for your garage, ditch the EQ and Amp and use just the deck with just the speakers. A high wattage computer power supply would work for just a head unit. But it would still be better to walk down to walmart and buy a boombox.
This boat will never see saltwater, and the amp will be completely sheltered from splashes and the weather.
It should be fine. You might consider using silicone to seal the edges just to be sure no water can get in the amp in case of an accidental splash.
Be sure to get an amp that doesn't have cooling fans or any other types of openings to the electronics.
