competition amplifiers

i'm wanting to know what brands are the best for competition bass?

Go to to a convenient store and buy a car audio magazine or just look at it for about 5 minutes. Or better yet, go to an audio competition and see what you find. You will see and hear which which brands are a total joke or not. Not only should they be cea compliant, but things like the amount of copper they use are also important. Some amps put out a lot of power, but the circuitry is made from the cheapest materials available to get the job done. A lot of these electronics are considered generic.

three volfenhag 12quot; DVC subs in sealed box with a Lanzar 4000 Claimed watt amplifier. 4awg power wire into dual 8awg.

I already have a 4 channel 440 watts amplifier.
I already have subs.

When you say competiton, do you mean SQ or SPL? I am going to assume SPL. There is alot involved in this though. Say you buy an SPL sub. These subs have a high Fs which means they will not like the low notes and need a box tuned higher for daily. So if you listen to rap, rock, or any other normal music than you do not want a SPL sub.

I have 2 12 inch Kicker CompVR Subwoofers with a Kicker ZX1000.1 Amplifier...

-break-in the subwoofer so it can perform to its max
-batt fully charged
-make sure the wiring is done right
-check the amp settings so it works at its max performance without sending a distorted signal
-check if the box placement will be the loudest option for your vehicle

but with those subs, dont expect great legal numbers at the termlab
... i think that should be it...

i have a kicker 750.1 amplifier pushing two kicker 12" comp vrs. now i want to upgrade my system i want to know what would give me alot of bass??? and what kind of amp would you recommend me for each pair. and do you think i need any batteries?

I will say l7, I currently have the 15" cvr and L7 , when I play my system with the L7s giving them the same power I was giving to the CVRs the bass is louder, the bass from the L7s you feel it more, it does brings the spl higher.(I am not even powering them properly)

so based on that I will say you will def. like the spl produced by L7s
(maybe not too much quality but tons of spl)

if i was to win a £600 camera in a competition i won, how would i go about selling it? it would be un-opened.

And before anyone says it, no, i'm not selling it on ebay. If i do win it, i will use the money to buy a new amplifier, and it's too risky and too expensive to sell on ebay incase of scams. i would proffer a trustworthy or over-the-counter method.

I live in the UK, if thats an issue.

Use the ebay escrow service to protect you from scams.
