Well you need subs that match the impedance of the amp to get a 1 ohm load.
Example:
2 dual 4 ohm subs (parallel all coils)
4 single 4 ohm subs (parallel all coils)
1 dual 2 ohm sub (parallel coils)
2 dual 1 ohm subs (series subs, parallel amp)

What would be a good amp for a Re Audio SX15 Competition sub-woofer. I'm leaning towards Hifonics Bx1505D or Hifonics BX1000D which amp would be better. So i don't blow the sub.
well you didnt say how many watts your speakers are so i really cant tell you i would go with the 1000
I have two 400 watt rms Each (800 watts Peak Each) 12" Kicker CVT's taht are 4 ohm voice coil, the speakers that come out in 2007 that are only 4 inches thick, I was wondering if a vented box would sound better than a sealed box, because i am putting them in a single cab f-150. Also which amp is better a VISONIK V2000T 2000 watt RMS 2 CHANNEL CAR AMPLIFIER or a HIFONICS BXI1606D 1600 WATT RMS MONO CAR STEREO AMP.
a single cab isn't the easiest thing in the world to have a ported box because you have limited space to work with.
If it was me id go sealed box.. but not the 1600 hifoncs .... that would a lil over kill because they are rated at 1100 at 2 ohms and your subs can only handle 800... I would look into a kicker zx750.1 which is 750 watts rms at 2 ohm
Good Luck
