You can mix or match any brands. As with all systems, you just have to have the right impedances.

This is another vid of my system setup properly, take a look at my other videos.
Im planning to have four JBL GTO607C components on my car powered by a Sony XM-554ZR amplifier. The JBL components are rated at 2 ohms and the amplifier specs say it can be tuned to 2 or 4 ohms. Can someone clarify if amplifiers will have switches to change the output at 2/4 ohms and will a 2 ohm amplifier to a 2 ohm speaker will drain my car battery ?
Some amps are able to switch ohms. I looked up the info on that amp and its stable at 2 ohms. 65w x 4 @ 2ohms. So run the components right into the amp, they will be going in @ 2 ohms. You should be fine just make sure to set the gains and the crossovers on the high pass, becouse you dont want the low frequiences. As fas as the 2ohms pulling more current, Im not sure it will pull more, but i dont think it will. Components dont pull as much as a sub. You should be fine.

I have front components(tweeter and woofer) and cross over, the rms is 70 watts, and the max is 210, the impedence is 4 ohms, and my rear speakers are 2 ohms, how can the amplifer(4 channell) power two sets that have different impedence, 2 v. 4 ohms?
it will power them the same but the 4ohm speakers will be getting half the wattage of the 2ohm speakers

Amp B: HiFonics

Both of them are class A/B, 4 channel amplifiers and minimun impadence load is 2 omhs.
the jbl is the best i have a jbl 1100 watts amp push to jbl subs and they hit
my car amplifier has power but when it is connected to the RCA inputs, a repetitive brrr brrr brrr sounds. I just installed a new JBL monoblock amp to replace a 2channel amp and used the same cables 8 guage. what is the cause of this? my setup should be correct since it worked for the old amp. the brrbrr sound doesnt depend on the volume of headunit. once the RCA is connected then it goes off.
