what would work better on my 750 watt car sub? A kenwood 350 watt amp or a jensen 680 watt amp? ?
---

I have both amps but i am not sure what will work better. I heard jensen is crap, but i'm not sure. the kenwood amp is 2 channel and the jensen amp is 4 channel. what would work better on my 750 watt sub?

1) A 750 watt sub will always work better when you give it 750 watts or as close to it as you can get.
2) Yes Jensen IS crap. Kenwood is good.
If the sub is rated at 750 watts RMS then I would suggest not using either amp. I would get an amp that is going to push the sub with what it needs and was designed to be used with, 750 watts RMS.

How do I make my Alpine amp power my kenwood car speakers on full power?
---

Hey all,
Need help with a basic sound setup for an '01 focus. I have an Alpine MRP-T220 amp, KENWOOD KFC-S5782C speakers and a Clarion DB165 head unit. I have everything loosely wired up with a wiring kit and the two new speakers only seem to be working at half-power. Have tried adjusting the gain on the amp to full and still nothing much better. Having to turn the head unit up full to hear a track. When i plug the loom back in and the rear factory speakers kick in they work much louder.

Any ideas why this would be happening???

you could have ur speaker wires crossed

Kenwood KAC-7202 2 channel car amp. One channel plays considerably louder than the other, whats wrong with it?
---

Hey everyone i have a Kenwood KAC-7202 car amplifier (2 channel) and one of the channels seems like its not getting as much power as it should. I have hooked up a few sets of subs to it to test it (currently hooked up to 2 15s) and there is an obvious difference in how hard the 2 subs are being driven(left and right) . I switched the channels to rule out the subs. the are the correct ohms so i know thats not an issue. Other amps work fine with the same wiring so i know the wiring is fine. Also i have made sure it was in stereo mode and not mono. Does anyone have any idea whats wrong with my amp and how to fix it? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

thanks alot everyone,
Josh

*ADDED*

It should run 2 15s fine they are only 250 rms each, and i cant run it in mono because they are both 4 ohm svc and the amp is only 4 ohm stable in mono. Any other ideas?
lol oops sorry first time using this didnt realize it would list that part twice

well first it should be set to mono,,,check the settings of each channel and make sure the speaks arent blown/damaged in any way and the channel itsself could be bad,,,,,,,,15s ? nah maybe some 12s also,,,
