kicker amplifiers

I bought a Kicker factory renewed amplifier from Hifisoundconnection and it's been wonderful, the thing you must remember is that when you buy an amplifier from them the amp isn't refurbished by a third party, it's refurbished by Kicker in Stillwater Oklahoma and comes with a 90 day warranty from Kicker.

What do you guys think about power ACOUSTIC car amplifiers? Please Rate their performance and Rate their RMS rating. Are Refurbished Kicker Amplifiers worth the money, $400.

Personally, I think Power Acoustik is crap. So do alot of people I know in car audio. Their amps do about 80% rated power. That means if it is rated at 100 watts RMS per channel, it will do about 80 per channel. If you can get the refurb cheap enough, I would get it, if it was refurb'ed by Kicker. Most of the time a brand new is one is only a little more.

if I add a 650 watt kicker amplifier to the 4 speakers will that blow the speakers completely ..

Why would it? You're adding a 4 channel amp that will clean up the sound and filter out bass anyway. So no. Don't worry about the wattage on the amp, just turn your gain levels down a little and adjust your high pass filter on the amp to around 100-125 Hz to limit the amount of bass to the speakers and you should be okay. Just double check though, sometimes the tweeters and woofers in the doors run separately to a amplifier in the factory, and if they aren't actively crossed over at the tweeter and they're being crossed over within a factory amp, you wont be able to just add a 4 channel amp to it. It will cause your tweeters not to work properly (because there will be no crossover). and some people will install the outputs from the amp to behind the factory cd player, but with a factory amp, this would do nothing. You would be adding an amp to nothing because the factory amp will take over and be powering the speakers anyway.
The way to tell if those tweeters are actively crossed over at the tweeter is to look in the door. If there is only one set of outputs going to the door and then their split to the woofer and tweeter, then you are okay. but if you see 2 separate sets of speaker wire in the door one for the tweeter and one for the woofer, then there is more than likely to have a factory amp, and you will want to replace your speakers as well.

I have a ZX1000 Kicker amplifier and I want to know what would be better to put to that amp? 2 12 inch P3s or 2 15 inch kicker CVRs? Both handle same wattage but what would be better?

id go with the kickers.i guess

It is a single 10" kicker cvr sub and zx300.1 mono channel amplifier. I want to know if I need a 2 channel line out put converter or 4 channel or if it even matters...also what brand do you recommend. I do NOT have the monsoon sound system if that matters either.

It really depends on your budget. Also, it really doesn't matter if you get a 2, 4, or 6 channel LOC. If all you want is subs, a 2 channel will work. But, if the one you get has more, you can just not use the other channels.
