I have two memphis audio 15" M3 subs and want to wire them to two memphis audio 500 watt amps I have two distibution blocks to use and the subs are dual voice coil and the amps are 2ohm stable and bridgable whats the best way to wire the voice coils on the subs and should I bridge each sub to each amp? If you had this how would you wire the system up?
Bridge one anp to one sub. that way each sub is independent on its own amp, just make sure that your RCA, remote wire, power, ground and speeker wires are all the exact same length so that there is no slak where you will get a double tune in the independent subs.

I just got a memphis 16ST100D mono amp, and it runs at 14 volts. My car, obviously, is 12 volts. How do I get 14 volts for the amp? Is it the alternator or battery? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Have you even tried to install it and run it yet? Any normal alternator puts out 13-15 volts. This is regulated by the voltage regulator. Get a voltage meter and run your car and check the voltage. Try and hook it up and see. It will most likely work.

Its a memphis 16-mc500d. It does 500 RMS @ 2 ohms. Its a mono amp. It shows signs of use some scratches. But works great. How much do you think its worth? Im the one selling it and someone is interested. They said would i take 70ish? and i said i was looking for more than that and they said they are still interested so what was i thinkin for price. I want to get what its worth. Heres the link to the pics.

Do i need two seperate amps?
Will i need a capacitor with this system?
Can someone send me a good wiring diagram for this system?
I greatly appreciate anyones answers.
Ok well 1st no you dont need 2 amps, you'll do fine with one good one. 2nd i dont know what kind of vehicle you have but it wouldnt hurt to use a cap. although i dont think you'll need it if its going in a truck or car with a decent size engine. 3rd i looked up the subs and they are dual 2 ohms so you have 3 wiring options, 1/2 ohm, 2 ohms or 8 ohms. this link will show you actuall pics of what i mean.

so about the amp....no you dont need 2ch, you should get one thats 1ch or can bridge to 1ch and can handle a 2 ohm load(thats your best bet cuz 1/2 will need a lot of power and your subs won't last even a year or so and 8 ohms isn't going to give you a deep bass) also it should have a rms between 1000 and 2000 but no less then 1000 cuz thats what the sub's rms is. i think thats it, i hope i helped. good luck!
i got two memphis 12" dual subwoofer and 1000 watt 1 ohm memphis amp tring to wire it up i had it at 2 ohm i think it,s to much so if there anybody who can help me wire up the subs lets me know.
email me my boyfriend has a whole memphis set up all new mojo stuff im sure he has it cuz he works for a memphis dealer c0okiem0nster@yahoo.com then i will email it back to ya
