how good are the good old phoenix gold titanium amps that thay dont make any more compare them to something

they are very good amps i have 4 in a closset saving for a new system i always use old school amplifiers

if the brand is so bad why are people paying so much for used amplifiers ??

i am buying a phoenix gold xenon 600 amp and was wondering how it rated

not all of their amps are CEA-Compliant--- which means that they have been tested and produce or exceed their advertised RMS [continuous] wattage with minimum distortion

if its not compliant its not making the advertised RMS wattage or if it is making the wattage its distorted and distortion over time is the main cause of speaker damage

phoenix gold ryval v8001 to be exact

you dont ever go by amp wattage u go by rms and the rms on that amp is 800 max so its pretty good just go with a name brand speaker like jl audio or kicker

How does Phoenix Gold compare with Rockford Fosgate or JL Audio? I notice that Phoenix Gold amps are almost half the price. I don't want to buy an amp that is cheap quality or is over rated in the power department. I know there are many brands of amps out there that are totally cheap and terrible claiming huge power ratings and usually look fancy or have fancy names. I just want quality at a decent price.

I am looking at purchasing the Phoenix Gold Octane R15.0:1. Mono amplifier rated at 1000Wrms @ with a 2 OHM load.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD BUDGET AMPS. THEY ARE ON PAR WITH HOFONICS I BELEIVE. JL ARE VERY NICE BUT THEY HAVE A VERY HIGH PRICE TAG. YOU COULD ALSO TRY LOOKING AT JBL, MB QUART OR AS I SAID HIFONICS AMPS.
