punch amps

I have 3 12" Kickers cvr dual 4ohm and i bought the punch T1000BD and just wanted to know was this a good amp for these speaker.

ya there some of the best amps u can get....puts out a lot more than 1000 more like 1300...good pick

15A circuit requires #14 wire
20A circuit requires #12 wire
30A circuit requires #10 wire
those are assuming a reasonable run (length of wire)

Does a punch 800a2 amp got power?I was thinking about trading my old school punch 150 (non hd)for one of these.

Sure it does. The older ones were pretty stout. Put out over 800 watts, lots of people ran them at 2 ohm mono, and I have heard of 1 ohm mono (def not recommended IMO).

They did run pretty hot from what I remember, but they always put out good power and were pretty reliable. I recall the punch 150s being very underrated? So not sure how much of an upgrade this would be.

At the audio shop the guy that works their told me "Punch amps are one of the best out there" can anyone out there vouch for him ?

Rockford are very good amps, but not even close to being the "best out there", but I like Rockford amps.

I have the RF Punch 400.2 driving my front speakers, and a RF Power T1000-1bd powering my subs.

spent about 200 and 400, respectively, excluding shipping, for for "one of the best out there" amps, be prepared to spend over $ 30k for one. True A-Class amps.
