rockford amps

Which do you think is a better company for amps? I hear mmats has a very good efficiency rating, but so does rockford. I also want something thats going to make my subs pound, but at the same time, i want a clean sound.
I have 2 alpine type Rs.
Or should I just get an alpine amp to match?

mmats amp is better..its smaller , cleaner and cheaper. try the mmats 2100.05 on them subs and see.

some people just dont understand how this amp works. It is VERY powerful....16000 watts RMS and also SUPER clean, one of the cleanest car amps ...

I just got two RF T1693C 6x9 speakers. I also got two RF T162c 6.5" speakers and two tweeters, RF T1T. The 6x9 are 110 watts rms, the 6.5 are 75 watts rms, and the tweeters are 100 watts rms. I am mostly interested in a Rockford amp, but if something is better, let me know. I want one amp that will power all of the speakers perfectly, if that is possible.

get a bosch amp. bosch is the best audio brand. it is the best quality and sounds great.

I have a rockford 1000.1bd amp and one of my RCA inputs cuts in and out. I think I can see cracks in the solder where the metal rca plug pin goes through the board. Can I reflow the solder with my soldering iorn? Do rockford rca input blocks go bad and should I look for a replacement part first? If I can reflow it with my soldering iron do you have any tips.

I just fixed my MTX rca's. Should be an easy job just use flux or flux core solder and get the iron up to temp. Sometimes a little sanding is needed to remove the wire coating.

I believe those subs weather there 10's or 12's are 1,000 rms. So that amp would be seriously under-powering it. Try to match the rms of the amp to the subs.At least get a amp close to 1,000 rms at the right imdepence..

Do any of you audiophiles know if the 04/05 series RF punch amps have differential balanced line inputs, I know that the newer series 06/07 have blanced inputs, but I want to be sure that the older series have it also
