Would a P5002 rockford amp power my 2 kicker cvr subs my subs are 1600 watt peak and 800 rms and 4ohm dual voic coil?

I have a rockford fosgate p5002 amp and 2 12" rockford fosgate subwoofers that when I turn the bass knob all the way up rocks my 2008 dodge avenger like crazy but I am wondering if that will cause they to blow?My gain is set basically perfect because I had it professionally done but any help wuld be great.
if your amp was professionally tuned and it was done by knowledgeable installers i would not worry about it at all. There is no way anyone on here could answer the question for you with certainty because we do not know what kind of rockford subs you have. Anything has a chance of blowing or frying, but if it's working fine and has been tuned correcly than most likely it will be fine unless the amp just dies itself without just frying out.
All 4 speakers are Kicker KS6.2. They are 6-75W RMS and 150W max @ 4-ohms. The amp is a Rockford Fosgate P5002. It is 125W x 2 @ 4-ohms and 250W x 2 @ 2-ohms. If I can, should I wire it in parallel or series?
Yes, it WILL scream. In fact by hooking up (2) 4Ohm speakers in parallel to each side will get the most out of the amp.
Oh, and there really is no preset way of using the gain(s). Just start from all the way down and SLOWLY turn them up until your hear distortion, then back down a little.

The P5002 amp is a great amp! I have my amp powering two RF P3 12inch subs and it sounds really good. Depending on what head unit you connect it to, you can change what cut-off freqz you want to hear. I have a pioneer deck so it works well. This is the best amp for the best price I think you can buy. Do not pay more than $300 for it. Next what I'm going to do is buy ANOTHER P5002 amp and then bridge the channels into one so that way I can use each of my two amps to power each of my subwoofers. Double the power and bass! But bottom line stick with RF forever. They make the best amps and subs as well and for the best prices.
Strengths: This amp is the craziest amp i think ive ever had. it says it only has 250 RMS at 2 ohm but it doesnt tell you the peak. in the package when you get it comes with a little red sheet that tells the actual wattage that it is putting out. the peak on mine is 1824 watts. and the subs i have in my car kill with that amp. this is a must get amp. it also burnt my altinator up a couple of days ago so now i gotta go buy a new one.
