sony car amp

they do not sell a repair manual for amplifiers. you have to be trained on circuit board technology. and know how to test and diagnose the problem or send it in to the manufacturer. or take it to a local repair shop that repairs amps.
i strongly reccomend that if you dont have this knowledge do not try and fix it yourself because you can make it ten times worse.

The amp is 500 watts 4 channel. Will it work?
and is 60 $ a good deal for the amp

honestly Bazookas kinda suck. so do sony xplods. but 4 channel means that it can connect to 4 different sources.. so a mono channel would be better

I'm trying to take this concert speakers and run them through an amp to get full sound. I ran them straight through a home stereo and it worked but not full sound. I have a Sony 502 car amp and I cut a wall 12v adaptor and hooked up the negative to ground and positive to positive.

Here's your problem: a "wall wart" AC to DC power adapter usually can supply less than 1 ampere of current. An amplifier producing 200 watts (the rated power of your Sony) will require a 12-volt input current of at least 20-30 amperes.

To use your car amplifier in your house, you'll need a 12-volt power supply capable of producing 20 amps of current or more.

It powers on for a few seconds/plays bass, then the LED turns from green to red and the bass stops after less than a minute. Any idea why?

I have a line-out convertor running RCA from the rear speakers to the Amp input. The subwoofer is wired as a rear speaker on the amp.

What are the "High Level Inputs" pins for on a Sony Amplifier. How do they differ from the RCA Inputs?

High level inputs are used when you dont have a deck in your car with rca's. You hook them up right to the speaker wire from your rear speakers, and that is how the amp gets the signal. RCA's will give you better sound and responce.
