7 screen car dvd player

I have a 7 and 3yr old and would like an in car DVD player which can either show the same film on two sreens or differant films. I dont want anything too fancy just as long as its good quality and easy to use.(not too many buttons) price range £150.00 to £250.00 . thankyou

you won't be able to show different films (you'll need two DVD players), but I have a Venturer twin screen model, 7" tiltable screens, remote control and with headphone sockets (handy!) and it comes with a little gamepad and 25 kids games, so one can play at the same time as the other watches a film. Should be way less than £200 by now, as it's about 3 yrs old. got it from Dixons, but I think they sell them in Woolworths and Argos too.

can i hook up a gps receiver to my monitor in my can and use it as gps im just woundering if its even possible cause i dont want to shove out anouther 250 or 300 bucks on a GPS when i have a screen for it already thanks in advance

If this is just a regular display monitor with an extra video input, you can't just plug in a GPS. You could plug in a computer that connects to a GPS and runs navigation software, but that's *way* more than $250.

I have a friend who didn't buy the nav option in her new car and later on wished she had. We found a car like hers that had been totalled and bought the nav system out of the wreck from the junkyard for $200. One long weekend later, she had the nav system on the car's screen without having spent a fortune.

Unless you can find a creative way to upgrade or replace what you have, you'll have to spring for the separate GPS. I prefer that anyway, because you can then use it in other vehicles.

I have a 1998 Grand Prix GT (4 door) and I am looking for a new cd player, possibly a cd/dvd player...i just dont want to buy something and it not work in my car...how do I find out if the one I find is compatible with my car?

i am getting a jenson 7'' in dash dvd player soon for my car. i do not live in the safest town and i also drive a 93 civic. does any one know of ways to protect it from getting stolen out of the car, or do you think it will. do not say tint the windows.... i kno that. and other ideas? have a great holiday.

Put an alarm system on the car.

Don't Drive around your neighborhood(3-5 miles) with the music blaring or a dvd playing on the touchscreen. Same goes with malls and other unsafe places to park, turn it off before hand, because if a thief sees something he likes and knows is worth money, hes going to follow you.

Its also possible(with some modifications and a lot of effort) to secure it to the frame/add a lock in the dash. Don't know the specifics for a honda but it(the radio) came factory attached to the firewall in my friends volvo. When he replaced it with an after market one he modified some metal pieces and soldered them together then bolted it back on to the firewall.
