I wonder if TV in Car DVD player are all analog? Most of them I've seen are analog, is there any Digital TV compatible? Is the effect of digital ones is much better? What should I do to if want Digital TV compatible in car? Thanks!
pioneer does a digital mobile reciever in the uk so you can watch and listen to digital tv and radio stations, they have had this box of tricks out for the past 2 years now, all you need is a pioneer screen and you can watch digital tv in your car,,

i am about to purchase an in-car dvd player with all the mp3, bluetooth added extras. it comes with instructions, but in general, are they easy to fit? im not an expert or anything but how easy is it? or should i get some one to do it for me?
pretty straight forward in most modern cars. you must buy a wiring harness (this connects your new head unit to your car without the need to cut or join any wires yourself. when you buy your dvd player make sure you can actually get a harness for your make and model off car. then basically remove your old stereo and connectors and replace with new one.providing the new stereo is same dimmensions as old one it should fit reasonably well. if not you might have to buy a spacer to fill in the gap left by old head unit. just have a go..if you struggle with anything just take it to a local car audio shop. depending on where your buying the new unit from(shop) alot of them fit for free anyway
Built in FM Modulator (87.7 to 89.1 MHz)

Just wondering as when my 2 kids are in the 2 back seats they cannot see the television in the middle seats... I was thinking on maybe just buying another twin screen one but was wondering if anyone knew if there would be a way just to buy the screens and if it an adapter or similar could be bought to link all up together or if anyone has heard of more than a twin screen one?
Thanks in advance
I can not advice anyone wishing to put such lethal items in a car with children.

i have a 98 nissan almera, it only has a cassette player at the moment and i want to install a cd player... if i buy one on ebay or somewher how do i know it will fit my car? are the generic?
Yes it will fit. Aftermarket radios are a standard size called a "din". Your Almera is a 1-din the most common size. The other size is 2-din (some times called a"double-din") that has the same width as 1-din but double the height.
The important thing to puchase with your new cd player is a wiring adapter. many ebay auctions will come with this included.
I hooked up my head unit and I was still testing everything before I went through and taped the wires up and I shoved it into the dash and was checking it out and after that I tried pulling it out and I heard a loud *shhh* sound and I thought I burned something out.
Afterwards my old factory radio would not work either and neither would my lights in the car , dome, door ect.. and my keyless entry was out as well.
Well I went and checked the fuses and I had blown a few and I replaced them and everything worked fine again. so I tried Hooking up the aftermarket dvd player gps system and it just didn't turn on, I can hear some grinding noises inside of it when I turn the car on but the player will not light up or play anything, I also can hear a little sound in the speakers, no music though just like sound.
I honeslty don't see how this would have even happened just by letting two of the wires touch together since they werent taped? I'm not sure if they all are suppose to have a fuse on the back but mine does not! and all the ones I've hooked up before have had fuses to protect the unit! I had disconnected the battery to hook this up but while moving it around in the car and shoving it in the dash I did not have it disconnected.
The model is a innovatek 722 gps
Please if anyone know how or where I can goto fix this it would be greatly appreciated and I have ann important cd stuck insdie of it as well. =( thanks everyone
I ended up finding the fuse, there are two and one is on the red wire and the other is on the yellow. they dont look blown so what else could the problem be that I should replace to have it working again?
I had the same problem however I didn't hook mine up. But all that could be heard is "SHHHHHHHH" and the slight sound of my fuel pump running in the back ground. I got you some info I would call 1-888-397-1176. I bought my unit on Ebay for like 445usd. You can always take it back to where you bought it and get a new one or your money back. If you can get ahold to 12 volts try hooking the acc (YEllow Wire with fuse) and the 12 v power (red with fuse together)
to the positive end of the battery and the black ground wire to the batt. If that doesn't work its not gonna work. Hope this helps. Good luck.
