audiovox portable car dvd player

I am looking to buy a portable DVD player for a long car ride. I am looking at the portable players that have two screens. I saw one at Sam's Club. You can use it so two people can watch the same movie on two screens, or each TV can be used separately.
I might just end up getting two separate units, one for each child. I have owned an Audiovox portable DVD player in the past, and it broke a few months later. Are there any other good brands out there? Do anyone of you have experience with the two screen type? Thank you!

I am trying to decide if I should buy an audiovox dvd player (D1817PK) for a road trip that I am doing with our son who will be 20 months old when we travel. Can I just strap it around the front headrest? Else, should I expect him to hold it?

The best thing to do is strap it because your son may not be able to hold it right and the DVD player might end up falling and possibly breaking.

car?? thanks i appriate the help with chords and everthing and yes it does have red yellow and white inputs or whatever

plug the dvd player in to the ciggarette lighter thing, plug in the yellow, red and white plugs form the ps2, make sure the opposite end is connected to the ps2, then make sure your
ps2 is plugged in (you might need a car adapted which are about $20 at target or raido shack.) then turn them both on, and play.

reason being is that the origional battery does not last long anymore, i beleive its because it ws left in the car during the heat, and im planning a family trip and i would like to keep the kids busy for some time..

Have you looked on ebay? usually you can get great deals on stuff like that.
