built in car dvd player

Doing a long family road trip, want to rent a crossover or full size SUV with a dvd player, I've looked at the popular rental websites but none mention DVD players, should I assume that there isn't any.

you can but you need to go to a classic car rental service or a prestigous rental car service they should have one with a dvd but ask a normal rental car place they could have one on request

I'm looking to rent a car for a long weekend and i would like a dvd player option (most likely a mini van) in a car so we can watch movies. and if known how much, that doesnt matter really because i can find that out later.

your best bet would be hertz or national car rental at login airport,i work over there and they mostly have top off the line auto's.

I need a new double din cd player, and I want to get one that has a motorized screen. What system has the biggest screen, looks the best aethestically and has a built in cd/dvd player. I'm looking for something thats out of the ordinary if theres anything thats really cool looking then tell me please! Thanks

LOL, if you're going to use "big words", then spell it right -aesthetically... Also why not, build LCD screens into the visors or back of the head rest, and run all of them to one main DVD player. While keeping a normal head unit. You do know you couldn't view it while driving anyway because of driver protection mode...

I was looking at the new 19" flat panel tv's with a side insert dvd player build in. Is there a reason why I couldn't use this in a car with a power converter? Would the DVD skip?

Would depend if you can find an inverter with a high enough wattage to be able to power it adequately.

Make sure you find out the tv's power requirements first.

Our vehicle has 2 headrest DVD players with built in IR transmitters. So far, we've been using wired headphones, but I want to buy wireless ones now. My question is how can I use 2 different headphones with 2 different DVD players and have each headphone pick up the right player?
