car cd dvd player

I need a new double din cd player, and I want to get one that has a motorized screen. What system has the biggest screen, looks the best aethestically and has a built in cd/dvd player. I'm looking for something thats out of the ordinary if theres anything thats really cool looking then tell me please! Thanks

LOL, if you're going to use "big words", then spell it right -aesthetically... Also why not, build LCD screens into the visors or back of the head rest, and run all of them to one main DVD player. While keeping a normal head unit. You do know you couldn't view it while driving anyway because of driver protection mode...

I barely use this CD/DVD player. Earlier today I played a CD with no problems, but an hour later, nothing would work in the drive. I have a Jensen CD-DVD car player -- model VM9311TS. I cannot insert a CD/DVD into the slot, and the receiver does not pull it in as it used to. When I push the eject button, I can hear a spinning sound. Is there something I can do to repair this problem? Thanks for your help.

The loading drive belt may have broken.

Out of your list I would go with the JVC. Not only because it's the biggest name brand out of the list but it would be the most reliable of them.

im building a desk, and i have this idea to install a car cd player and a dvd player into it, and i would like to know how to make these things able to just plug into the wall..i've asked some people at stores, and i've been told it can't be done..yet at best buy, they have 7 of them playing at the same time in some wall unit..

You make a good point with the store display and it having all those units playing without a car. That unit consists of a way to mount the units, a rather elaborate speaker switch for demonstrating the units with different speakers and vice-versa. And a good stable 12 volt DC power supply. And some form of antenna system to get stations. To do this at home, you will need the antenna, and the 12 volt power supply. I would recommend one capable of at least 5 amps if the CD player unit is capable of 50 watts or greater. You will also find it desirable to enclose and seal the backside of the speakers. Or use bookshelf speakers.
