Is it possible to just buy just an overhead lcd screen without a dvd player for a car?

I have a dvd player in my dash. I just want an overhead lcd screen installed so whats playing on the dash appears on that screen.


As long as the player and screen have matching inputs/outputs (ie: RCA), then yeah it'll work.

i brought a 7 in dash tft lcd car monitor and a dvd player for my car but i just found out that it dont have?

AM/FM so i wonna know if i can hook that up plus hook up my jvc cd player and i brought a amp 2 12s and a equlizer if i can how can i do it


you can hook all of this up. what you will have to do is hook up the radio regular, then if your radio has some type of input for an auxillary soure, then hook up the audio outputs of the dvd player into that. that's how the sound from the dvd player will play into the speakers. hook the amp up as regular, and the equalizer regular as well. hope this helps.

    When you turn it on and see the Memorex logo on the screen, press the input button on the remote quickly, then quickly press the arrow down button, then quickly press the ok button,then quickly press the arrow up button, the the ok button. This fixed it. I tried this on my friends tv who recommended this tv and it worked too. Both tv’s have worked great ever since and it’s been awhile since this happened. I’m surprised none discovered this. My thought was that the tv was stuck on video 1 and just had to get it out and I was right. It works.

    Was very excited about this television. Good picture in the store, good price, wife works for Target extra discount, Happy Fathers Day 2009. Mounted on the wall in our bedroom, looks good, picture is assume, dvd is cool. For 4 months…..Sound and no picture. October 2009-Very calm and relaxed, get all the info and start the warranty claim online. Pretty cool, was able to scan receipt and attach. Wait for Memorex, Day 1, Day 2(Increased breathing), Day 3(Finger tapping), Day 4(Lets call). Oh yes, we have your infomation right here, you need to send us a copy of the reciept and we can start the warranty process. I attached the reciept with the warranty info. We’l we don’t have it. Ok, I’ll fax you a copy. Day 1, Day 2(Thinking about ripping dead tv off wall), Day 3(Call) Yes, we have the information and we will cover the parts. What about labor? Labor is for 90 days……As a grip the desk where I am sitting. I would like to speak to a supervisor.
