Please dont tell me its illegal blah blah i know, it's not for my enjoyment its for my passengers. i have a REGAN RF-302B 4.3 INCH TOUCH SCREEN TFT LCD. 1 DIN REGION FREE IN-DASH CAR DVD/CD/MP3 PLAYERWITH BLUETOOTH & T.V TUNER. how can i bypass the player so dvds run without the E-Brake engauged? diagrams would be helpful, thanks alot.
haha all i had to do was connect the wire to a ground in my car and it works, easiest and safest bypass..

You should have a wire designated for the e-brake hookup. Take that wire, and put it in each pin of the diagnostic port while the car is on, when you find the one that makes the dvd play splice it onto that one. You may have to put a toggle switch in line so that it will fool the player. That is what I did and may not be the best option. Hope it helps.

Ok so i turned 17 and am getting ready to buy a car, and ive narrowed it down to 2 choices.
Here are the some info on both cars:

300zx: 1991 FairladyZ, Right side drive, non turbo, Short shift, New injectors, cold air intake. JBL Audio speakers sub and amp. Double din navigation DVD player. All the carpet has been removed and the dash and doors are done in blue/black vinyl.

Here is the Civic
:1.6L sohc vtec engine, . Compustar 2way alarm and starter. Full sound system, custom sub enclosure in the trunk(subs and amp not included). They both have reasonable milage and seem to be in good shape.

I was looking for detailed answers on both cars, which is better in performance, reliabilty, and any other info you can think of. Please detailed answers, Thanks

FYI; the 1996 civic si was made in canada, it is the same as the 1996 civic ex in US. (coupe)

So i want to buy a dvd player with gps for my car but i am wondering what do they mean by 1 din and 2 din,also i would like to know if anyone knows about any good brand for this kind of stuff because i don't want to have any problems or have it broken after 2-3 months or something.also i read a lot of posts that says they are facing problems with reading the sd cards for the gps.also could anyone tell me what is the procedure of installing the maps on the dvd player,is it something difficult?thanks for your answer any help will really help me out.
