Would prefer a portable DVD system with dual screens, and would like to have it with a battery. I saw a perfect one by Venturer, an 8.4" dual screen system, but can't find it at any store online or otherwise. I tried to email Venturer, and message failed. I am at a loss for what other system might work. We want to take on a long road trip and let the kids hook up their game system for the hours on the road.
I only found the 9 inch. It does all the same as the 8, but the reviews on it were lousy.
Everyone had problems with the latch on the door cover of the DVD.
Here is another dual player. I don't know what your budget is but this will do the same. Reviews are 83% positive
Good Luck!

Please excuse my ignorance on this subject, but my daughter and I are going on a 10 hr road trip in 1 month. I was wanting something that plugs into the car, goes in the backseat, and she can watch movies or play games...with headphones!! lol. Thank you so much!
PS if there is not something that does both, then just a good brand of portable DVD player will do

I have a 2006 Nissan Armada with a DVD player and TV. The DVD player has the white red and yellow plugs to hook up a video game system. I also have the elctricital plug that I can use. put i need to know how do I get the gamecube to play from connecting it to the DVD player. like do i need to have a DVD on the player and then turn it on or should htere be no dvd in it when i turn it on. please help
1. You hook up the gamecube to the TV, not to the DVD.
The game cube has White,Red and Yellow plugs. Connect the three plugs to your TV's. When you turn on the gamecube with a game inside, gamecube sends video and audio signals to the TV's.
2. If you have a portable DVD player with a built-in screen, your DVD/screen player has to have three input plugs (white/red/yellow) where you will plug Gamecube's cables to them. Usually there is a buton to switch on to use the external video sources (from Gamecube, for example) and turn it off to play regular DVD. In this case, you don't need to have a DVD disk in the DVD to play the game cube.

The color LCD display brings images to life, showing off your treasured photos, favorite movies and music with the same 'real life' rich detail and vibrant colors as high quality prints.
Dual screens allow you to display same videos or images from the portable DVD players. Simply plug in and mount the screens on the headrests in your car.
It comes with convenient in-car accessories to enhance your movie enjoyment on the road. A car adaptor allows you to power your portable DVD player using the cigarette charger
The DVD-Video player remembers where you have finish viewing a DVD and continue playing from the exact scene where you stopped watching even after a power failure.
The Philips Portable DVD player is compatible with most DVD and CD discs available in the market. DVD, DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, (S)VCD, and CD - all of them can play on the DVD player
Information about my portable DVD player's slots to plug chords in: My portable DVD player has a car plug, to plug in a car adapter, a coaxial plug (I don't know what coaxial means), a VIDEO, AUDIO OUT plug, a headphone jack, and an on/off switch. Thanks in advance!!!
P.S. My player does not have the red white and blue plugs in it.
usb, maybe...
can you play video games like Xbox 360 or WIi, in your car dvd player?? Mine is atached to the head part of the driver seat.
As long as you have a video input and you'll need a power converter for the video game. The display may have an input in front or at the back of the dvd player. If it's one of the all together built ins, you may not have an aux input to it.

The Lakes: State Basketball weekend
We passed the time by watching movies, playing the ipod, and looking at the map. Bridger was having a hard time grasping the concept that Casper was in Wyoming like Evanston is. He had fun finding all the towns that he knew about. Little side note here: Bridger calls it Wyoming, Evanston instead of Evanston, Wyoming. So the fact that it was Wyoming, Casper was throwing him a little bit. Hence, the map. Brent was a happy man the first night when Bridger asked if we could go back after dinner to watch some more basketball. We probably watched about 12 games during the weekend. Not to bad considering we had 3 kids under 3 with us! Just tonight Bridger asked if we could go back to state basketball....
