car dvd video player

I installed an external DVD player to hook up to the screen on my 2006 Acura TL. But I get faint diagonal lines that run through the screen. I hooke dup the player using the dsub cable. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the lines? What's the proper way to ground it or is there a filter or something that I can add?

You Definitly have to use video cables for this project. Audio cable does not have the strenght to produce a clear video. you will see the difference in price when you go buy one..

Ok so i downloaded some music video from itunes to my ipod nano 5th generation. So i take it down to my car and plug it into my double din dvd player. Now when i do that only the song plays, the music video does not show? What do i need to do?

How do I download a YouTube movie and then burn it to a DVD that will allow it to play in the DVD Player (7" motorized screen) of my car? Also, if anyone has done it, does the YouTube video come up clear in your car?

You need a simple program like this http://www.vso-software.fr/products/conv ert_x_to_dvd/ it is called convetXtoDVD, very easy to use, drag the video in the program, with a blank dv-r and it will make a DVD. To your second question, it depends on the quality of the original video. Good luck.

If u mean watch the screen while driving, then just ground the brake wire from the stereo wires and u can watch movies while u drive and not just when its parked. There should be a wire labeled brake wire in the stereo wires and u just ground it with the ground wire in the harness or ground to the vehicle chasis itself.
