car monitor dvd cd player

im looking 4 a indash monitor dvd player 4 my car and i was looking at many diferent types but d X O Vision cought my eye. i was jus wounding if d pic qulty. was any good?

when it comes to car audio you always get what you pay for so i would stick to the name brands, even the cheaper name brand products are a lot better than the stuff you haven't heard of- i would avoid it like the plague

i would like to buy a tft touchscreen cd/dvd player to replace a stock car player. i would like it to have a monitor that tucks away that is 7 inches. it needs to be able to play dvds,cds, and it needs to be ipod compatible!! i don't care about the other stuff like gps and tv and what not. ideally i would like to pay not much more than $300. so based on these things what products would you suggest? thanks in advance

AM/FM so i wonna know if i can hook that up plus hook up my jvc cd player and i brought a amp 2 12s and a equlizer if i can how can i do it

you can hook all of this up. what you will have to do is hook up the radio regular, then if your radio has some type of input for an auxillary soure, then hook up the audio outputs of the dvd player into that. that's how the sound from the dvd player will play into the speakers. hook the amp up as regular, and the equalizer regular as well. hope this helps.

if you have sub's, amp's, dvd players, ps2, cd player, monitors, gps, phone and i-pod chargers, neons, reversing cameras and other electronics should another battery be added and connected to the alternater to run these items for a short time eg 30min when the car is not running?

If you're using all this equipment while the engine is running, then a second battery won't help you. The alternator is the primary power source while the car is running. No power is drawn from any battery until the alternator is already overloaded. Until then, additional batteries just add to the load on the alternator.

If you're having power issues then you may need to upgrade the alternator. If you use the electronics for long periods of time with the engine off, then you may want to install a second battery with a relay or isolator so that the starting battery won't be drained.

Much of the equipment you listed---LCD monitors, GPS, phone and iPod chargers, backup cameras---require very little power to operate. The amplifiers are the devices that require the most power, and it varies depending on how loud you play them. If you're not trying for high SPL, then your stock charging system might be just fine.
