disney cars dvd player

This is the second one we have had and it has the same problem...we returned the other one because that dvd wouldnt read movies , even new ones...this one has the same problem and it is a few months old...i tried a dvd cleaner and it will barely read that...
the other problem is when i returned it to toys r us they kept my receipt...has anyone had the same problem with their cars tv's.
My daughter has a disney princess one and it never had any problems...

just to ler you know im not fake or else i wouldn't be asking for help. i really need the help umm "thanks alot?" for thinkin imf ake

it wont let me play even kids g rated movies it comes up i need a tv guardian code which is five digits in length it gives you a website which when you go on you have 2 pay 29.95 just to get a code so you can watch movies on its ridiculos i paid $100 for the dvd player and my kids cant even watch cartoon movies does anyone know the code? or can anyone help with this problem i would appreciate it thanks!

You need the Parental Control password to watch R rated movies. Look in your manual for the default code, or try entering 1369, or 8888, or 9999, or 1234 if no one has changed the password.

If you can't remember the code you set the password to, then try unplugging your player for 10 minutes or more, which might reset the player to the factory settings.

A list of known default parental control passwords can be found at the link below, but I don't see your model listed. You could try some of the codes, since Disney doesn't actually manufacture their players, it could be one of these manufacturers.

I just forked out 140 bucks for a new disney lightning mcqueen tv for my son. Now I am trying to hook up my dvd player to it, and can't get it to work. Does anyone have a clue as to how to get it to work? Thanks!

how did you connect it ? If you used a set of red/white/yellow a/v cables, you need to select the video input of the TV ( how to do that will be in the owners manual ) If the TV doesn't have those red/white/yellow connectors ( called a video input ) then you will need to buy an RF modulator. They are around $10.00 to $15.00 at any Wal-mart or Radio Shack type of store and include easy installation instructions

Does anyone know where i can buy one of these from if they are still made? (shop or online) My son really wants one but i do not really want to get one off ebay and amazon want £220 which is a joke when the tv was only £130 when it came out. Thankyou for any help.

My husband and I are taking our kids to Disney in June, I was wondering we have been window shopping for portable DVD players for the car. Preferably a dual. But for some reason every dual dvd player that we have seen has terrible reviews from other people. Out of chance does anyone have or know of a great dual portable dvd player for the car that you can say works great and really recommend? Thanks in advance.

My wife and I are lalso taking the kids to Disney in June and I have been shopping for a dual dvd system. I know that as a norm, you get what you pay for but there has to be a decently priced sytem that has good ratings. Keep me updated please if make a decision and I will do the same.
