dvd car stereo

on such touchscreen dvd stereo receivers as the jensen and dual models, would the A/V in be enough to have the zune display its menus, now playing album art, and videos as if it were on an actual tv? I know many stereos have ipod plugs that allow for menu interface but i need this for zune.

Basically, if you can display something on a tv, you can display it on a dvd monitor. You will not, however, have direct control over the Zune interface from your stereo. The manufacturers would have to reprogam all of the firmware to make it be able to do that.

You can also use a 12 VDC Automotive Relay SPDT 30/40A to automatically bypass the DVD warning info. There are also devices on eBay that automatically bypass the DVD warning info. Some sellers on eBay sell the switch along with the automatic bypass device. This is so you could turn the DVD off if you get stopped by police.

I am looking at some alpine car in-dash dvd/cd stereos and I am wondering if you could hook up a car-based hard drive to one of these so you can access the music on your hard drive using the touch screen interface

i want to find a good new car stereo that does all of those things. plays mp3's, has a screen for watching dvd's, and also has an auxillary input for use with a portable mp3 player. ooh, i wonder if they make any with USB connections... that'd be cool. prices would be useful too!
