I did that. If you are talking about making the sound come out through the speakers (sounds real good with a action movie! with my sub!) If you have a AUX input on your stereo, if you dont have one, you can get a FM transmitter. I just got one for my sister, I got it at walmart for 19.99. What it does is, you can send sounds to it, either a ipod, cell phone or even here; a DVD player. and it transmits the sounds into a radio signal, and it makes it a signal your normal radio can pick up. You can pick from like 10 channels what ever one is clear or clearest.
But with FM transmitter, you will need a cable that has a headphone jack on each side, one side plugs into your headphone jack on DVD player, and over end goes into FM transmiter, It's really simply.
I know you can do it! I beleive in you!

There is a phones jack, an audio jack, a video and coaxial jack; all 1/4". Is there an adapter I can buy that will go into the tape player for my car stereo? I use to have one for my old Sony Walkman so I could play CD's through my tape player before I had a CD player in the car.
Thanks
Yep ask the dude at radio shack to show you what it looks like.

Hi Thanks for responding. Ive checked out the link and cant find a similar model to mine on there.
Ive searched the entire machine and remote and there is nothing at all on there... not even on the cables. All I could find was on the box where normal companies would have their branding it says "car entertainment" But ive looked on the net and found that its made by Flying Craft Co. Limited is a member of TONGYI GROUP LTD In china with a code of CEAV0063?!
If anyone has this stereo
Sorry didnt quite finish what i was saying, If anyone has this stereo and is willing to make a photocopy of their manual I would really appreciate and pay for it
BILL - Yes I will let you know if I have any joy with finding out more or if I get my hands on a manual for it.
It looks alot like a jvc but they normally put the jvc logo on the face. There should be a model number somewhere on it. Check the face for any letters and numbers like "rt4360". If nothing is on the face than the white sticker that's on the body should have it. If I had that number I could help more. Take a look at jvc's website and see if you find your new toy on it. http://www.mobile.jvc.com/index.jsp
Also if no luck, email me and I can walk you through setup and install. Im sure its not much different than the thousands of indashes I have installed.

I have a 2007 mini van without the RCA in slots. Is there a cassette adapter with RCA ends that I can use? Help!

It's not wireless so there's no interference. Not to be confused with an FM transmitter. Basically it adds an AUX input to ANY radio. No searching for a clean channel.
It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. It comes with an On/Off switch.
This is the answer. Totally versatile.

I have a Lincoln LS with the volume and stereo controls on the steering wheel. I am wanting to put a DVD player and screen where my stereo unit is. I don't want it to mess up the volume controls on my steering wheel though. Is there anyway of doing this without messing them up or will I just have to cancel out these controls in order to install a DVD player and screen??
There are many different companies that make interfaces to work with indash units. I would talk to your local Car stereo shop. They can tell you what model number you need. But yes it is possible.
