jvc dvd car player

I recently bought a Dvd player for my truck. I hooked it all up but one wire that says it should goto the handbrake pedal. Problem is i got told if i do hook it up i want be able to play Dvd's while driving and i got it for my little girl to watch on trips. Anybody have any idea's?

You can always just clear the paint away from a area that is grounded on the body of your car (i.e. under the door sill) and screw that wire down into it. Although it is illegal in most states, so pending on where you came from you didn't hear this from me. The wire just needs to be grounded to make it operate

i was bought the sony mex dv 2000 indash dvd player. a lot of people say sony sucks and they dont last long. is this new indash dvd player good, is sony car dvd players better than jvc arsenal. what brands make the best indash car dvd players. does the sony mex-dv2000 indash dvd player compare witrh models like jvc or eclpise alpine costing much more.

i have a jvc kd-avx2 in dash dvd player.
my car is a 1993 civic hatchback
i want to view while driving

While it's illegal to view while driving, I have the same thing in my cars. Just hook the player up to the constant 12V power, your accessories, and earthing point, same as always with CD players etc. It'll work fine.
