Car DVD Players Answers
purchased on clearance at a Target store about a year ago. No part or model numbers on either the remote, the player itself, or the owners manual. Unit is a 5 disc changer with surround sound. Banging the remote flat on the floor used to "wake it up" for a few days. Batteries are fine. Thanks for any help.
Take it back to Target customer service and explain the problem. Being no visable numbers they should come up with info. or a replacement unit. Target is good about things like this. If you have your original sales slip the process should go real smooth and you should get all fixed up.

I have a two screen dvd player that we use in the car for long road trips. I would like to hook up a game system to it, but cannot seem to find the right cord or adapter for it.
Usually that cord comes with the player, and probably proprietary to it.
Mine has a 1/8" 4 circuit plug.
I have a Gemeni Universal AC Charger/Adapter. It goes from .1v to 12v. Looks just like any other AC Adapter and has worked for years. I think Radio Shack sells em, or any Electronics Parts store. If your thing says Input 9.5v, you need to either set your Asapter at 9.5v Output or buy an adapter that is 9.5v only, one day you will have a drwaer full of adapters like I do.
This one maybe the good choice for you http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?Pa geAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=919
